Who we are
A passion for textiles in every workshop
Borrissol was born from the vision and commitment to create a space where people can connect with hands-on creativity. We saw in the need for digital detox an extraordinary opportunity to bring to life something made with your own hands.
After analysing our strengths and people's real needs, we decided to take this path: creating a creative space where the process matters more than the perfect result.
The journey has been and continues to be a constant learning experience. Our goal is not just to teach textile techniques, but to create an experience that becomes yours — and to send you home with something you made yourself.
Materials with purpose
100% recycled acrylic yarn
Our yarns are born from the vision and commitment to reduce the waste generated by the textile sector on the environment. We identify in the need for change an extraordinary opportunity to give new life to pre-consumer acrylic fibres that are no longer in use.
So after analysing our strengths and the need for change towards a more sustainable textile industry, we decided to embark on our journey towards 100% recycled acrylic yarn. The road has been and continues to be a constant learning process, as our goal is not just to create high-quality yarn for your creations, but also to give new life to waste while maintaining the same or better performance with a 100% Recycled product.
We start by collecting fibres from pre-consumer waste. Once collected, we sort them by colour and through a defibration process we have our fibres ready to be spun again.

No, all workshops are designed for absolute beginners. We guide you every step of the way.

Yes, many people come alone and it's a great way to meet people with similar interests.

We help you adapt your design. We have templates and guide you so the result is what you expect.

It depends on the workshop. One-day tufting express workshops are completed the same day, but the piece needs some drying time. With other techniques, you may be able to take it home the same day. Still, we encourage you to enjoy the process — that's the true value of creating a handmade piece.

In most workshops, yes. The exception is the Borla (monthly workshop), where materials are not included because each student chooses their own.

It depends on the workshop. Pelusa lasts 4h, Floc 6h, Vellut 8h and Pelut 10h. The Tote Bag workshop is around 3h and the Group workshop 2h. Borla is 2h per week. In any case, feel free to ask us about new workshops we'll be launching, or you can also propose your own idea.
